Hi there ! Ok, so I'll start this thread maybe my other post went unnoticed.
So , I have this problem with EFB, the framerate drops drastically as soon as I open a window (or pannel) with an grabbed image loaded intro MSFS, and restores back to normal if I close that window. The other pannels work just fine, even the live map works great. I also tried adding lower quality jpegs with Get Image from File, or smaller images but the problem persists.
What details can I provide in order to check and maybe find a fix for this problem ??
In hope of an answer this time
Thanks, have a good day

I guess one cause could be that if you grab large images in a large high-resolution screen then the resulting image is going to be very large, thus possibly affecting framerates. Only had two reports of this.
So scale the image beforehand, by making it look smaller on the monitor and grab that. Or use an external snipping tool and scale the image, and Paste into SIM EFB.
What resolution are you using? And what is the PC and Graphics specs?

Hi there! Thanks for reply. As I stated before I tried adding low resolution images by manually adding them in SIM EFB. I added a 749x426px image, with a size of 73,3 KB. No success. My resolution for my display as well as in game is 1920x1080px. My PC Specs are: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6850K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz 32,0 GB RAM Memory Nvidia GeForce GTX 980Ti Windows 11 Pro
I made a little video to show you exactly what and how it happens.
Thanks!

Thanks for the video. The graphics card is struggling to keep up. The map is processed every 2 seconds, hence the dip every 2 secs, which is basically a web page using Leaf, a javascript mapping module, to show the map. Not much I can do. You could lower the FS2020 graphics. Works fine on my PC.
Or ask the retailed for a refund

Neah ... no worries, I won't ask for a refund. I still enjoy the pannels on WorldMap. I don't think the GPU is to blame. I can see the framerate, as well as the GPU ussage is dropping only when the grabbed image map is moving! If it stays still, the framerate works ok. What's intriguing is that it only happens on the Grabbed Image map (even if it's only a 80k image). The normal map works fine even if it's moving. I'm trying to help, and give as much details as possible, maybe you can find a fix. I want to use this little progam as it was intended. I made another video, and uploaded a much better quality. usaupload.com/5KDP/Desktop_2022.01.22_-_17.16.24.02_1.mp4I really hope you can find a fix for this issue.

When you move the map and it stutters the second bar under the Frame rate turns REd and says limited by GPU. Thats why I say it's the GPU, cause that's what it is telling you.
