I am only getting half my normal frame rate after installing SimEFB, When i uninstall my frame rate goes back to normal, I have uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times to see if i can get this program to not use all my MSFS2020 FRAMES. If i am unable to run simEFB without it using all my frames i will have to leave simEFB uninstalled and have wasted my good Money.
I am looking for some suggestions from the programmer why this might be happening. I have 40 GB OF MEMORY When using simEFB I LOSE HALF OF MY MEMORY THANKS FOR ANY SURGESTIONS

Hmmm that's odd. I'm at a bit of a loss to know why it would use 20gb of ram. Are you sure it really uses that much?
No one else has reported a problem, it's quite a simple program. What is the spec of the machine?
If a reboot does not fix this, please ask the supplier for a refund. Say I suggested it.

Hi Thanks for your response I don't see any way to show a few screen captures of the different frame rates i am getting, but i do like the program i will try see if i cant find out why its using so much of my frame rates, other wise i will have to uninstall the program. Regards

The program is not much more than a mini web server with a small footprint. I would guess the biggest memory use would be for the image currently displayed in the panel as everything else are text files. I could see it affecting the frame rate if the PC is already below spec.

Hi I have discovered that the g3000 road data is the cause of the high frame rate, Uninstalled it and my frame rate is back to normal. Thank you for your concerns

Sorry what do you mean by "g3000 road data" The Garmin G3000 Working Title upgrade has a road data option to show roads on the G3000 MFD.

So was this related to the EFB at all or in the end totally separate? Keen to know. Was it only affecting you when in an aircraft that has the g3000 or with any aircraft? Thx, DRJ

Hi there! I did not want to open another thread as I have the same issue listed here!
My frame rate drops badly as soon I open an EFB moving map with a picture I have grabbed from a website, or an image from a file. The Moving World Map is working just fine.
The frame rate returns to normal if I close the window.
Please let me know what details I can give you to further investigate.
Thank you.
