I haven't seen any replies to problems in the installation forum section.
Is this product still supported or is this just a scam?

I answer a support message last night, so no it's not a scam! Who would write such a large program, a couple of months work, to be a scam??? So I would say either: 1) The file is corrupt on the disk 2) Or most likely that a virus checker or some such software is trying to kill it when it runs 1,000 of people have run that install, so the file should be OK You can manually download the program V1.18 from: comtekaccounts-my.sharepoint.com/:u:/p/samsmith/EZechOkl_X9Eqj56tSEppVEBzo8LiolsKVKbz9z8CjSmHQ?e=jdeEnGIf still a problem turn off all virus checkers...

I said that because there has been no response to my problem posts on the appropriate forums.
V1.18 installer will not run. V1.10 installer has no problem and installs fine.
I would say that is a strong indication the problem is with V1.18 not the PC or its configuration.
V1.18 will install on my PC running Windows 10.
The error it gives "A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file : D:\Installers\Apps\simEFB\EFBinstall(1).msi" doesn't really make a lot of sense. How do you get a network error trying to from a local file?

I answered you the same day!
V1.18 has been installed by several thousand people, without problems, so I cannot see it being the installer, plus not much different from 1.10. A few small file changes.
The error "A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file" is usually something blocking either the reading or writing to or from the hard disk. Hence I said about the virus checker. Did you look at turning one off if you have one on while it installs? Did you try the new download? You don't say what you have tried...

I got version 1.18 to work by a work around. I have no virus checkers running but what comes with Windows 11 (Windows Defender).
Work around was: I installed 1.10 on my Windows 11 PC. I installed 1.18 on my Windows 10 PC, has no problems on Windows 10. I copied all the install folder contents on my Win 10 PC to my Win 11 PC.
V1.18 Manger will not run on the Windows 11 PC.
However, the problem with the icons for the buttons on the screen in game and no airplane icon in the center are still there. And simEFBinstall.msi still won't run on the Win 11 PC.

Hmmm, that's really odd. Exclude %APPDATA%\Local\simEFBmanager\simEFBmanager.exe from such software see sim-efb.com/Instructions/TroubleshootingOr perhaps give Folder permissions to "Everyone" for folder %APPDATA%\Local\simEFBmanager and subdirectories To give permission to the folder: - Right click the folder you want to set the access permissions for and then select Properties. - In the properties window click on the Security tab then click on Edit. - On the Permissions window click on the Add button to open the Select Users Group or Groups window. - On the Select Users or Groups window you can enter the username "everyone". - Then, click OK. - Select Full Control by placing a check mark on “Allow” - Apply the settings. - Close the properties window. - Then try installing the application.

I have installed 1.18 on windows 11 OK, but something seems to be blocking the flight Images and Flight data being sent to the javascript running in the panel.
Will investigate more...

Version 1.19 will install but still has the same problems 1.10 had. It does not display the "airplane" icon in the center of the map to show your plane location and I assume orientation. And the button icons in the upper right are not displayed. They are there and respond to the mouse and show the tool tip for them, but they are invisible otherwise. Screen shot below shows EFB 1 and 2. On the map image I have circled in red the missing icons.

If you publish them to an external browser, do they show?
So it installed OK using the installer?

If you publish to an external Panel, which opens in a web browser does it show then?
if not on Chrome/Edge press SHIFT+Ctrl+I which opens a DevTools window. Under the console tab Does it show various errors? Can you send me them please?

Under the console tab Does it show various errors? Can you send me them please? Screen shot of Microsoft Edge displaying the external Panel with DevTools open. Is there anything else I should select besides the Console tab to get errors to display? I circled in Red where it should have shown my plane icon. I circled in purple where it showed the flight plan starting. The displayed flight plan sis shifted NNW throughout the map. I haven't done much to cross check this but it doesn't reproduce the path that is in MSFS World map or on the MSFS Map display. Version 1.19 installer did solve in install problem. Ken

Odd no errors are shown, it would show if the image files are in accessible or javascript hit an error. Most web sites show some.
The button and plain images should be in C:\Users\samsm\AppData\Local\simEFBmanager\resources\assets\common
where samsm is my username
Not sure what to say I expected an error of somekind to be displayed.

Images are there in the common folder. It has seven "but.." files. It looks like your mini browser is rendering the buttons out of order so that the main image overwrites them. For example, when the display is first opened in MSFS I can see the outline of the boxes but no text image identifying them inside the square. If I pass the cursor over them the outline disappears as the cursor moves over them, but the tip text will display indicating the area is still active.
