I can't get SimEFB to show a file path on my computer containing images in the search panel. Ive tried various iterations of File:///F:\charts etc but cannot get the page to display. If I type the aforementioned directly into the browser it will bring up a list of files just fine. Any tips on achieving this? In other words what do I have to type in here To display this in the search tabs?

Sorry to say Sam that I find support of this product, which is IMO the best EFB for MSFS unhelpful and unfriendly.

I’m sorry you feel that way. The idea of that part of the screen is to allow you to put URL addresses, not file paths.

Sam this has nothing to do with Microsoft Flight Simulator. I want the search path that passes urls to the browser that you use to find charts etc to screen grab and paste into SimEFB to allow file URLs. At the moment it presents me with webpages but I would also like it to present me with charts I have pre-populated into PNGs on my hard drive. At the moment it presents me with the webpages and I just manually type in the url that points to my hard drive folder, it would be much better if SimEFB did that for me to save having to type it in each time like it presents me with the web-urls. I would then screen grab the relevant charts from that to be used in the sim in the same way I do now for Skyvector etc. I dont want the sim to reference my hard drive in any way. I have a method to download all charts for given airports automatically to my hard drive. This would make populating the various charts within SimEFB much easier and enhance the usabilty of SimEFB considerably.

So the search tabs presented would look something like this. It makes getting the charts you need an absolute breeze The file paths ARE urls. Attachments:
