I have installed SimEFB per the instructions, watched Simhangar's YouTube video, and read the SimEFB instructions.
The program is installed into C:\Users\[my username]\AppData\Local\simEFBmanager.
I can start and run SimEFB normally.
I have built Simhangar's tutorial flight plan (EGJJ - EGJA) and practiced importing maps and charts per his instructions.

I have read the instructions provided by SimEFB at the website and have successfully built 3 additional flight plans.
I have also imported other flight plans I had previously made at Simbrief.com and at SkyVector, and verified the data.
I have seen the completed flight plans with support files created and resident in the Documents/sim-efb-flightPlans folder. In the folders the files are:
flight-notes.txt
FlightPlan.FLT
flightPublishSettings.xml
flight-sub-pages.xml

I opened MSFS 2020, selected my aircraft in the Welcome screen, and opened the World Map. I verified that all 3 of my flight plans were available in SimEFB and SimEFB was running.
Then I selected Load/Save and navigated to the flight plan I wanted in Documents/sim-efb-flightPlans folder.
After a few seconds, MSFS 2020 simply crashes to the desktop.
I have tried loading the other two flight plans, and the same thing happens each time.
In addition, I have also built a flight plan (per Simhangar's example) inside MSFS 2020 in the World Map area; I then exported that plan to SimEFB for use in the Flight Plan tab, then published to MSFS 2020 while the game was running.

I then started my flight exactly as he did in his example; however, none of the EFB windows on the in-game toolbar showed any data at all. They simply read:
Run Sim EFB Manager Program
Then press the hidden
button under the "S" of "SIM EFB #"
In Panel Title Bar
Also, the hidden refresh button did not ever work for me, and I have tried reinstalling the panels several times.
I noticed that every time I push the Publish to FS2020 button, there is an sound which normally is associated with an error. However, I cannot find any evidence of an error, and there is no crash log for me to find out why the game is crashing, or share with the SimEFB developers.
I would really like to understand why this is happening, after paying $34.95 US for the program. Can anyone help?
